Shari Misher Stenzler | Founder, London Misher PR

London Misher specializes in public relations, brand development, special events and marketing for corporations and charitable organizations in the lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, media, hospitality, travel and leisure, real estate, consumer products, retail and health/beauty industries. Additionally, Shari is the Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Kidville. Named “Best of” by New York Magazine, Kidville operates large, upscale facilities, catering to young children and their families.

Shari was featured on the covers of Entrepreneur Magazine and New York Family Magazine and was named “40 under 40″ by Crain’s New York Business. Also, New York’s Our Town Newspaper named her an “East Sider of the Year.”

Shari has previously served as a member of the PBS Next Generation Media Advisory Board and the New York Board of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Shari also served on the Board of The Center for Arts Education (CAE). She received a BS from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University and an MA in Film and Media from New York University.

Dana TelseyDana Telsey | CEO, Telsey Advisory Group LLC

Dana Telsey is CEO and chief research officer of Telsey Advisory Group LLC, a leading research, trading, banking and consulting brokerage firm focused on the consumer sector that she founded in 2006. With more than 140 companies under coverage, the firm provides primary; contextual; quantitative and qualitative research.

From 1994 to 2006, Telsey covered the retail sector at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., most recently as a senior managing director. Prior to working at Bear Stearns, Telsey was the retail analyst at C.J. Lawrence and vice president of the Baron Asset Fund at Baron Capital, Inc. Telsey is a 13-year member of Institutional Investor magazine’s “All-America Research Team,” where she was the No. 1 specialty stores analyst for seven consecutive years through 2005. In 2009, Telsey was ranked the No. 1 specialty stores analyst and the No. 1 broadlines and department stores analyst on Institutional Investor Magazine’s “All-America Independent Research Team.” Telsey has appeared as a special guest on such programs as Wall Street Week, ABC News, NBC Evening News and is a regular guest analyst on both CNN and CNBC. Telsey graduated from Hobart-William Smith Colleges with a BA degree in history and Spanish and received her MBA from Fordham University. She holds the Series 7, 24, 63, 66, 86, and 87 licenses.

Tom ChinTom Chin | Managing Director, Telsey Advisory Group LLC

Tom Chin is a Managing Director at TAG. Tom has over 20 years of experience working with consumer companies. Prior to joining TAG, Tom worked in the corporate finance groups of Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan, and Alex. Brown. He has executed numerous merger and acquisition and financing transactions primarily for retail, apparel, and restaurant companies. His career also includes operational and private equity experience with Unilever, Transpac Capital, and Bradford Capital Partners.

Mr. Chin earned a BS in commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jarrod MosesJarrod Moses | CEO, United Entertainment Group

Having created deals valued at nearly $10B over the past 15 years, Moses’ work is often referred to as the cornerstone of the branded-entertainment industry – creatively bridging the gap between Madison Ave and Hollywood.

After quickly rising through the ranks of Grey Advertising as the company’s youngest President, Moses founded United Entertainment Group (UEG) as a joint venture with Hollywood powerhouse United Talent Agency in 2007. Under his leadership, UEG create entertainment marketing platforms for dozens of Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay, General Mills and Coco-Cola while at the same time working closely with the world’s most influential entertainment entities including NBC Universal, Warner Bros., Facebook, The Walt Disney Company and Twitter among others. Moses’ most notable work includes the creation of the hit television show “America’s Next Top Model,” the launch of the WB Television Network and the production of the Fox Searchlight motion picture “Just Wright” for which he was nominated for a BET Award. Moses’ work has earned him industry accolades and he has been featured on CNN, Bloomberg Television and FOX Business News as well as in many international publications. Moses is also a member of the Board of the Hamptons International Film Festival, and a co-founder of the New York Comedy Festival.

Stefani Greenfield Stefani Greenfield | Chief Creative Officer, The Jones Group

Retail was never her goal. With a degree in Mass Communication from Tulane University, her plan was to go back to New York to become a copywriter or a lyricist. But, despite those aspirations, people couldn’t help but notice her knack for mixing uptown chic with downtown cool .

Greenfield’s break came in 1989 when she was hired as an assistant to the VP of Donna Karan’s new DKNY collection. After rising, in five years, to head DKNY Jeans, Greenfield moved to ESPRIT where she was VP in charge of Merchandising and Design. In 1996 Greenfield launched SCOOP with her partner Uzi Ben Abraham. SCOOP immediately became a phenomenon and now includes 14 stores nationwide. With partner Desiree Gruber, Owner and Founder of Full Picture and Creator of Project Runway, Greenfield formed My Next Act, a consulting company focused on fashion and entertainment. The two recently launched an accessories brand Theodora & Callum. In November 2011 Greenfield was named Chief Creative Officer of The Jones Group. Greenfield is also a co-founder of Love Heals -The Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education, and a Board Member of Baby Buggy. She’s married to financial investor Mitchell Silverman, and they have a six-year-old daughter, Theodora.

Jaime RomanJaime Roman | Managing Director of Products and Retail Practice, Accenture

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Jaime Roman moved to Minneapolis after completing college and has never looked back. On top of his BS in computer engineering from Universidad de Puerto Rico and master’s degree in general management from University of Saint Thomas – School of Business, Roman has spent more than 20 years in the IT field, 15 of that in the retail industry. Since 2004, Roman has served as Managing Director for Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Roman leads teams responsible for delivering new customer order management capability across multiple channels to the enterprise as well as tools for client’s retail stores. Employing 259,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries, Accenture generated net revenues of $27.9 billion in fiscal year 2012.

Prior to Accenture, Roman served as IT Director for Best Buy where he ran their Customer Order Management Systems, providing the fulfillment engine for the dotcom application as well as managing all customer orders for the retail stores sales systems. Prior to Best Buy, Roman served as Director of Operations for Centrifusion where he led the Minneapolis branch of the e-business integration consulting firm headquartered in Chicago and Project Manager for GE Capital Fleet Services.

Kate RussellKate Russell | Design Director at Gensler; teaches at NY School of Interior Design

Kate Russell is a Design Director at Gensler, a global design firm with 42 offices around the world. With more than 12 years experience, Russell has designed spaces for some of the most innovative and influential retailers including award-winning designs for Alexander Wang, Kate Spade, Judith Leiber and Rocawear, as well as Collective, a full service men’s lifestyle store with locations in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, India.

In addition to overseeing retail designs in New York, Russell collaborates with the firm’s Dallas, Boston, Pittsburgh, Sao Paulo and London offices, on a myriad of US and international retail projects. She also serves on Gensler’s retail task force and is an active member of the form’s Design Leaders group. Russell leads her team to design spaces for clients that tell a complete environmental story through elements of architecture, material choices and brand-specific interactive moments.

Russell is an active member of the American Association of Museums and The Environmental Design Research Association for the past 12 years. Additionally, she is a member of the Interior Design Educators Council and currently serves as a professor at the New York School of Interior Design, where she has taught for the last five years.

Alison Arling-GiorgiAllison Arling-Giorgi | The Intelligence Group

Allison Arling-Giorgi serves as a Business Development Executive for The Intelligence Group, a division of Creative Artists Agency. In addition to helping both current and prospective clients engage in the cultural lives of Gen Y consumers, she is a frequent presenter to IG clients such as BBC Worldwide, Sony, Nestle and Microsoft and leads the development and execution of IG’s quarterly Trend School seminars.

The Intelligence Group is a youth-focused consumer insights company dedicated to identifying emerging movements in popular culture and then translating that information into relevant knowledge for companies, brands and institutions. For nearly 15 years, their syndicated Cassandra Report has been the leading ongoing study of youth trends, behaviors and preferences in the US.

Jaime WallJaime Wall | WJ Partners

Ms. Wall joined WJ Partners in 2010 and is responsible for deal sourcing, executing investments and portfolio management. Prior to joining WJ Partners, Ms. Wall worked at Roark Capital, an Atlanta-based private equity investment firm with more than $1.5 billion in capital under management, and at Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill, a New York-based private equity investment firm with approximately $1.4 billion in capital under management. Ms. Wall has significant expertise evaluating and working with businesses in the consumer products and services sector, including McCormick & Schmick, Remington Arms and Pet Valu. Ms. Wall currently serves on the Board of Directors for Pet Valu. Ms. Wall started her career at Bowles Hollowell Conner, a leading middle-market investment bank focused on merger and advisory services. Ms. Wall graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Davidson College with a B.A. in Economics and received a M.B.A from Harvard Business School

Keith Miller | Partner, Goode Partners

Prior to helping start Goode in January 2006, Miller was a private investor and advisor to the global branded consumer marketplace. From 2002 to 2006, Miller served as a senior advisor to Itochu Corporation’s executive management in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan. His responsibilities included oversight for the origination, structuring and execution of brand related mergers, acquisitions, licenses, distribution and joint venture agreements in Asia.

From 1987 to 1999, Miller was the co-founder and president of an apparel manufacturing and screen printing business which supplied some of the fastest growing retail and consumer brands in the world including: Gap, Adidas, Old Navy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Levi Strauss & Co., among others.

Miller is an advisory board member and shareholder of a number of national and international businesses including, but not limited to, Chrome Hearts, Inc., Dave’s Killer Bread, Rosa Mexicano, Lacrosse Unlimited, Sir Kensington’s Ketchup and A.P.C based in Paris. Miller also sits on the board of the Sachdev Group of New Delhi, India which operates and manages global luxury consumer brands and continues to advise many well known entrepreneurs, chief executive officers and principal shareholders in the consumer marketplace.

Miller graduated from Clark University with a BS in Economics, and lives in New York City with his wife and two children.

Jodie McLeanJodie McLean | President & CIO, EDENS

Jodie W. McLean is President and Chief Investment Officer of EDENS, one of the leading private retail real estate companies in the nation. For 20 years, she has been a key player in the company’s growth and expansion to its current marketplace leadership. McLean is passionate about retail and its vital importance in enhancing and building the life of communities.

McLean joined EDENS as a financial analyst upon graduating from the University of South Carolina Honors College. She was named Chief Investment Officer in 1997, and in 2002 she was named President. In 1997 McLean was instrumental in securing the first major infusion of investment capital in EDENS with a $150 million commitment from the State of Michigan Retirement System. The following year she led strategic financial initiatives resulting in capital commitments from New York State Teachers’ Retirement System and JP Morgan Investment Management, Inc. Overall she has run point on development, redevelopment and acquisition of more than $6 billion in retail assets.

A native of Chicago IL, McLean holds a BS degree in Finance and Management from the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina and a degree from South Carolina Honors College. She serves on the George Washington University School of Business – Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis Board of Advisors, the South Carolina Honors College Partnership board, and the South Carolina Governors School of Science and Math Foundation Boards as well as boards of various other organizations and charities.

Kerry CavanaughKerry Cavanaugh | VP of Marketing, EDENS

Kerry Cavanaugh is Vice President – Marketing. With over a decade in global brand and product innovation management, Cavanaugh focuses on brand building and consumer innovation in retail, overseeing the corporate and center specific marketing of 124 retail properties along the east coast. Prior to joining EDENS, Cavanaugh was Associate Director of Marketing for The Procter & Gamble Company where he was responsible for global innovation strategy and new product design for P&G’s $1.2 billion cosmetics business. While at P&G, he was the brand manager of a top 15 P&G brand, COVERGIRL cosmetics, where he successfully relaunched the brand’s digital and retail programs.

Cavanaugh has his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Notre Dame.
